I hope the next KI is multiplat so that the main fgc will properly balance the game through criticism. I love KI, I invested so much passion into it. You need to have a cult like mindset to keep defending the fact that rash can fullscreen you and that is fair and balanced. But can any pro player here present KI S3 to the main fgc and justify the balance ? NO. So Rash does what he wants, Aria is safe even on whiff, fulgore autopilot light bladash (because its -1, what are you going to so about it ?) Etc etcĪnyway, if you call me a scrub, who cares, I have played KI since 2015, and I am not a pro player like most here. Any new dev, will see the cult like mentality of the community and think "Hey lets use KI s3 as a template, since the community loves it".Į.g many issues of in KI could be fixed by simply nerfing the frame advantage significantly of many moves to establish a real risk reward system. Ppl who defend KI s3 have a cult like mentality, which is fine, but is it good for the franchise ? Moving forward the KI community needs to admit that this game is broken and then help the next devs make a better game. They literally said "we know the game is broken, we can't fix it, but we can give you another bs char".

But we can blame them for giving chars like Aganos 40% semi unbreakables as a buff ( who does that and says ship it ?)Įagle is just a culmunation of all the problems in KI S3.
#Killer instinct wiki rash Patch#
So we can't blame the patch notes and dev since it would have been expensive to do. Many of the bs in KI today was likely not intended and only required a complete design change. The devs probbably didn't know they were that strong, no one really knew back then. In the S tier of broke you have Aria, Rash, Thunder, etc. Many chars are broken but there are tiers. Back in 2016, everything didn't look that bad, Rash felt ok for some reason, Aria was ok, Thunder was ok.īut in 2022, these chars (and many more) make me so mad because they are so broken. I think in S3, the devs were understaffed and tied with deadlines and since it was the last project, fun became relevant over reason. But still it is a 9 year game so it doesn't matter.
